Sudhakar Madakasira, MD, DFAPA

CEO, Medical Director

Sudhakar Madakasira, M.D., DLFAPA, is a psychiatrist and a Diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. He has over thirty years of clinical experience, half of it in academic centers. He has won numerous awards and is listed in The Best Doctors of America. He is in full time private practice, and is a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry and teaches at University of Mississippi Medical Center. He founded Psycamore Psychiatric Programs and specializes in evaluation, research, and treatment of anxiety and mood disorders and in partial hospital programs.

Mark Ladner, MD

Medical Director, Evening Program

Mark E. Ladner, M. D., FAPA, has Board Certification in Psychiatry and is a Fellow in the American Psychiatric Association. He has 20 years of clinical experience and is currently an Associate Professor at UMMC. He has worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings including the Jackson VA Medical Center, St. Dominic Hospital, Hinds Behavioral Health Center and Private Practice. He earned his M.D. at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in 1992. He completed a psychiatric residency at UMMC in 1996, serving as chief resident of psychiatry from 1995-96. He is from Jackson, Mississippi and has been part of the Psycamore Staff since 2005. He has served as President of the Mississippi Psychiatric Association and Acting Chief of Psychiatry at the VA Medical Center. He has experience in treating a wide range of psychiatric disorders including mood and anxiety disorders, PTSD, and psychotic disorders.

Kirtida Desai, MD

Medical Director, Adolescent Program

Kirtida Desai, MD earned her medical education from Government Medical School, Surat, India. She received her psychiatry residency training at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS from 1993-1997. She later joined the faculty at UMC and was part of the Psychiatry Consultation Liaison, covering the Emergency Room. She earned her board certification in Adult Psychiatry from ABPN in 1999 and was recertified again in 2009. She is a Fellow of APA and an affiliate faculty with the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at UMMC. Her experience also includes working at Mississippi State Hospital with adult and geriatric females with chronic mental illnesses and providing psychiatric consultations at the Jaquith Nursing Home, the largest nursing home in the State of Mississippi. Dr. Desai has consulted with Psycamore since May of 2006.

Dr. Kimberly Madakasira

Kimberly Lichte-Madakasira
Phd, LPC, LMFT, E-RYT, RCYT

CFO, Executive Director

Kimberly Lichte-Madakasira is a licensed professional counselor, licensed marriage and family therapist, and a registered 500 level yoga instructor. Dr. Lichte-Madakasira has been a licensed professional counselor since 2000 with experience treating adults utilizing various techniques and therapies in both group and individual settings. She provides yoga therapy, which has been shown to be beneficial for depression and anxiety and has completed her training in therapeutic yoga. She received her PhD in Health Psychology from Walden University in 2011 where she studied somatic issues. Her areas of interest include mood disorders, chronic pain and somatic issues. Through a holistic approach, she believes in utilizing the connection between mind, body, and breath in order to effectively access the body’s healing power. She utilizes specific and customized mindfulness practices with her clients in order to help elevate their moods. Dr. Lichte-Madakasira is the Executive Director and a founding member of Psycamore, LLC with extensive experience in administration and business.

Dorothea Garrett, MS, LPC

Clinical Therapist

Dorothea Garrett is a Licensed Professional Counselor. Her specialties are in the areas of anger management, self-esteem and grief and loss. She received a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Chicago State University in Business Administration, a Master’s of Arts Degree from Northeastern Illinois University in Vocational Counseling and a Master’s of Arts Degree from Pepperdine University in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. She has extensive knowledge in Personnel Administration, Vocational Rehabilitation, Vocational Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling and Child/Adolescent Therapy. Before coming to Psycamore she performed the duties of Program Director from another partial hospitalization program where she gained additional experience performing individual, group and family therapy.

Angela Essary, MS, LPC

Clinical Manager

Angela Essary earned her Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2003. She became a Licensed Professional Counselor in 2005 and a Board Qualified Supervisor in 2011. After 10 years as a therapist and supervisor in community mental health, she came to work at Psycamore in 2014. As Child Program Manager, Angela provides individual and group therapy for both children and adults. She is a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist interested in brain science, wellness, mindfulness, spirituality, and gender dysphoria.


Emily Lehigh, MSW, LCSW

Child Program Coordinator

Emily Lehigh is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in 2005 in and her Master of Social Work degree from Grambling State University in 2006. Before coming to Psycamore in 2016, Emily worked with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings including Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health, School Based Mental Health, Intensive Outpatient treatment, and Hospice. As Child Program Manager at Psycamore, Emily provides individual and group therapy for children and adults. Her professional interests include cognitive behavioral therapy, positive psychology, and parent-child relationships.

Lauren Bennett, MS, LPC

Adolescent Program Coordinator

Lauren Bennett, MS, LPC, NCC is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Nationally Certified Counselor. She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Mississippi State University and earned her Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Mississippi College. She has been employed by Psycamore since 2004, serving clients from various clinical positions at the Flowood and Biloxi locations, and is now the Child Program Clinical Specialist in Flowood. Lauren conducts assessments, individual, family, and group therapy for adults, adolescents, and children. She is also involved in the UR Department of Psycamore. Her current professional interests include cognitive behavioral therapy, perfectionism, guilt and shame, relationships, and self-esteem.


Susan Wolgamott, M.A.

Intake/UR Manager

Susan earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Mississippi College and earned her Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Reformed Theological Seminary.  Before coming to Psycamore, Susan was a therapist for 13 years providing individual and family therapy.  She also was an Adjunct Instructor in the Psychology department at Mississippi College.  As Intake/UR Manager at Psycamore, she coordinates clinical intakes and diagnostic assessments for new clients. She also works with managed care companies to ensure that the patients receive the services that are clinically necessary for recovery.


Cali Foreman, LPC, NCC

Adult Program Coordinator

Cali earned a Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling from Mississippi College in 2014. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor. Prior to employment at Psycamore, Cali worked in an outpatient community mental health setting and provided individual, group, and family therapy to children adolescents and adults. She has also worked as an intake counselor in an acute inpatient care facility. Cali is currently an Intake/UR Specialist performing initial intake assessments with new clients and utilization review with managed care companies.


Jasmine Snow, MS, LPC

Regional Manager

Jasmine is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Master of Science degree in Counselor Education with an emphasis in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Mississippi State University. In 2016, she received a post-graduate certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis from Capella University. Jasmine has over six years of experience in a variety of mental health settings. Jasmine is eclectic and uses a blend of cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy and person-centered therapy to meet the individual needs of her patients. Her professional interests are dialectical behavior therapy, women’s issues, grief and loss, and trauma. Jasmine utilizes a strength-based, holistic approach by exploring and educating patients on how the mind, body and spirit are interconnected. She has a passion for helping patients develop a deeper self-awareness of how maladaptive thinking and coping skills negatively impact their overall well-being.


Regina Smith, PLPC

Clinical Therapist

Regina Smith, a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor (P-LPC), Certified Mental Health Therapist (CMHT) and a Certified Effective Parent Trainer earned her undergraduate degree in psychology at Mississippi University for Women. She also obtained a Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. Her experience includes over 10 years of working with children and families as a family advocate and servicing families with children with disabilities. She has worked in a domestic violence and rape crisis center, providing 12 week sexual recovery group and individual counseling for women and children. She also has over six years of experience working in community mental health as well as a background working in a residential facility, servicing children suffering with ADHD, ODD, DMDD, Anxiety and Depression. While there, she provided Individual, group and family therapy. She utilizes a blend of cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy in a pragmatic approach in order to meet the needs of her clients.

Olivia is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Nationally Certified Counselor. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Counseling at Mississippi College. She has over 10 years of experience in administering a wide variety of psychological tests, completing clinical intake assessments with clients in crisis situations and providing individual and family therapy with clients of all ages. Maria Chapman is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science/Pre-Law from Jackson State University. Maria has years of legal, extensive administrative, and counseling experience. Her specialization is Positive Parenting and has facilitated several Parenting Workshops through community outreach. Clinical Psychologist

Teresa Elias-Hooper, PsyD, ABPS, is a licensed clinical psychologist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychological Specialties in Clinical Psychology. She has been in private and inpatient hospital settings since 2004. Her central focus is with adolescents, adults, couples and families with depression, anxiety, and adult childhood abuse issues. She also administers psychodiagnostic evaluations and ADHD evaluations in adults, adolescents and children.

Bobby Huff, MS, LPC

Clinical Therapist

Bobby has enjoyed providing counseling and therapeutic services to individuals, couples and families since 1991. His interest in addiction studies began in graduate school and led him over the years to develop and manage programs for adolescents and adults struggling with problematic compulsive behaviors. He has extensive training in the treatment of alcoholism and other drug dependency, sex addition (Level I and II), compulsive gambling (Domain I and II), as well as relapse prevention, trauma (EMDR Part I and II), and crisis intervention. He has a particular passion for helping men of all ages develop skills and gain insight toward a more masculine wholeness to be better fathers, husbands and leaders. Bobby is a licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). He received his Bachelor’s degree from Belhaven College (now Belhaven University) and Master’s degree from Regent University in Virginia. Barbara Rogers

Therapeutic Yoga Instructor

Barbara has been practicing yoga since 2005. She is a registered yoga teacher with the yoga alliance and has over 300 training hours with the YogaFit Mind and Body fitness training program. While spending several years exploring the many different yoga traditions, she was also discovering how yoga played a role in healing the mind. She has studied with many renowned teachers and has taken many workshops which lead her to her specialties; yoga for trauma, restorative, fascia release, and thai yoga massage. Her goal in yoga is to always take clients on a safe and mindful practice and to help them discover the power and self-control that already exist within. Barbara’s past work experience has been in nursing. She holds several fitness certifications including mat Pilates, Pilates reformer, Spin, dance, and water. She is married with two grown children, one grandson, and two dogs.

Catherine Rogers, MD

Psychiatrist, Biloxi Programs

Catherine Rogers, MD completed her medical school and psychiatry residency training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is board certified through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Following her psychiatry residency training, she served as an active duty military member in the United States Air Force as an attending psychiatrist and medical director. She is currently in private practice full time. Her interests include mood and anxiety disorders, military/veteran issues, psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and IOP/PHP treatment.

Program Manager

Hayley earned her Bachelor’s of Psychology from Blue Mountain College and Master’s of Marriage and Family Counseling from Mississippi College. In addition to being a Licensed Professional Counselor, she is a National Certified Counselor and a Board Certified-TeleMental Health Provider. Before coming to Psycamore, she worked as a children’s therapist in community mental health. Hayley has experience with counseling adults, adolescents, and children presenting with issues related to relationship conflicts, career counseling, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and behavioral disorders. Her goal is to help patients feel profoundly understood and to engage in a collaborative process that facilitates healing and success. At Psycamore she meets with new patients for their initial screening and assessments, and coordinates with managed care companies to ensure that patients receive appropriate and necessary services for recovery. Her professional interests include Reality Therapy, anxiety disorders, couples counseling, and mindfulness.

Mary Dodson, MS, LMFT

Clinical Therapist

Mary earned her Master of Marriage and Family Therapy from The University of Southern Mississippi, and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Prior to joining Psycamore, she worked with adults, adolescents, and children in the acute psychiatric inpatient setting, and runs groups with our adult patients during their time in the program. Her professional interests include co-dependency, military couples/family issues, internal family systems theory, and attachment-based trauma therapy.


Leslie Fitzmorris, LCSW

Clinical Therapist

Leslie received her Master of Social Work from Southern University in New Orleans, LA. Leslie has worked with adults, adolescents, and children in multiple therapeutic settings, and currently works with active duty Navy personnel and their children in the school setting. Leslie is a Registered Play Therapist and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and provides group therapy for adult and adolescent patients in the program.

Holly is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who received her Master of Social Work from The University of Southern Mississippi. Holly focuses on trauma work with adult patients during their time in treatment, and completed her EMDR certification in 2017. Holly has experience working with adults, adolescents, and children in both the hospital and outpatient setting, and runs her private practice on the MS Gulf Coast.

Moira is a Certified, Professional Level Kripalu Yoga Teacher & Teacher Trainer, registered with Yoga Alliance at the E-500 hour Level. Sharing her love of yoga with students is her joy and her passion. Moira’s classes offer students compassionate self-observation, gentle alignment cues and empowering vinyasa flow. Moira is honored to have taken over 200 hours of alignment based yoga & philosophy workshops with Doug Keller. Moira completed Shiva Rea’s Vinyasa Flow Teacher training in 2004. The nurturing environment she creates in her sessions, as well as her understanding of anatomy and physiology, inspire a healthy, open body and a focused, relaxed mind.

Robert Rahaim

Robert Rahaim M.S., LPC-S

Program Manager

Robert Rahaim has been a Licensed Professional Counselor in Mississippi since 1994. He earned a Master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, MS in 1991. During his time as a graduate student and for the 12 years following his graduation, Robert worked for a nationally recognized psychiatric/behavioral health system in various roles, including, Program Director, Outreach and Counseling Center Director and Clinical Director of Managed Care. Robert served on the adjunct faculty at Belhaven College in Jackson, MS (now Belhaven University) and was a lecturer and group facilitator in the Pastoral Counseling and Marriage & Family Therapy programs at Reformed Theological Seminary. Across his career Robert also worked in private practice and has had the privilege of helping individuals, couples and families move through challenging events in their lives. Recently Robert earned his credentials as a Board Qualified Supervisor and enjoys helping developing therapists hone their skills toward licensure. Robert has been with Psycamore since December 2012.


Yoko Montgomery, M.Ed, LPC-S

Yoko Montgomery is a native of Mississippi. She began her post-secondary education at Mississippi Valley State University earning a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Criminal Justice. After entering the workforce, working with at risk youth in group homes in the Memphis TN area, Yoko pursued and earned her Master’s of Education in Counselor Education from The University of Mississippi in 2008. Yoko has worked with emotionally and behaviorally challenged children, adolescents, and their families for over 5 years, utilizing many different counseling modalities. Yoko earned her LPC in Mississippi in 2012 and became a Board Qualified Supervisor in 2015. She enjoys helping patients reach their goals in life through the process of building trust and relationships.

Lecretia Clark is a Nationally Certified, Licensed Professional Counselor. She has been a licensed professional counselor since July 2016. She is also a licensed school counselor. She received her Bachelor’s (1995) and Master’s (2010) in Business Administration from Delta State University. She received a Masters of Education in Counseling from the University of Mississippi in 2014. Prior to beginning at Psycamore in 2017, Lecretia worked with local mental health centers over 14 years as a mental health counselor, case manager, and Psychosocial Rehabilitation Coordinator (clubhouse). At Psycamore Lecretia provides individual and group therapy for adolescents and adults. Her interests include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.


Ishita Pareek, M.S., P-LPC, NCC

UR/Clinical Therapist

Ishita is a provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Natural Science from Christian Brothers University and earned her Master of Science Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Memphis in 2017. Before coming to Psycamore, Ishita had experience in addictions, recovery, and co-occurring mental health disorders. Brittany Carr, M.Ed., P-LPC

Intake/Clinical Therapist

Brittany Carr, a provisional Licensed Professional Counselor (P-LPC), earned a Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Development at Delta State University. She also obtained a Master of Education degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Delta State University in 2017. While working on master’s level coursework, she completed an internship working with young adults as a student counselor intern for the student success center at Delta State University. Brittany has experience as a therapist in community counseling services, behavioral health services, career counseling services, and intensive inpatient youth services, working with adults and children with Anxiety and depression, PTSD, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and parent- child conflict. She utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy, stress management, conflict resolution, communication and parenting skills. Brittany enjoys helping others reach their goals towards becoming better versions of themselves. Kelly Gardner, LPC, C-IAYT, E-RYT

Therapeutic Yoga Instructor

Kelly is a Yoga Therapist, Certified Yoga Health Coach, yoga instructor and Master Trainer for YogaFit. She is also a Licensed Professional Counselor in TN and MS. She teaches yoga to patients at the inpatient and outpatient levels of care. Kelly leads groups on self-care based in Ayurveda and offer online courses for small group Ayurvedic based health coaching. She also leads teacher trainings, and maintains a caseload of private clients to combine yoga and mental health.
