Yoko Montgomery Ramsey

Yoko began her post-secondary education at Mississippi Valley State University, earning a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Criminal Justice. After entering the workforce, working with at-risk youth in group homes in the Memphis, TN area, she went on to pursue and earned a Master’s of Education in Counselor Education from the University of Mississippi in 2008.

Yoko worked in elementary, middle, and high schools as a behavior specialist helping emotionally and behaviorally challenged children, adolescents, and their families for many years. She also worked over 5 years in community mental health as a mental health therapist. While there, she earned her LPC in 2012 and became a Board Qualified Supervisor in 2015. She enjoys helping patients reach their goals in life through the process of building trust and relationships.

In her free time, Yoko enjoys spending time with her husband and family cooking, eating, and talking! She also enjoys shopping and self care days!
