Lauren M. Tharpe(Bennett), MS, LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Mississippi (#1963). She earned her Associates Degree in Psychology from the University of Mississippi, Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Mississippi State University and earned her Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Mississippi College.

Lauren has 18 years of experience in the field working with children, adolescents, adults, and their families. She utilizes an integrative approach with an emphasis in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), with a passion for the treatment of ADHD and creative, experiential and/or music-based interventions. She has most recently participated in an intensive workshop in Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (ERP) for the treatment of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) by the Center for Anxiety and Behavior Therapy as well as the Ross Institute Trauma Model Therapy Certification Program.

Lauren is a huge nature enthusiast. She especially loves doing outdoor activities like hiking and bird-watching. She also loves listening to, singing, and creating all genres of music. Lauren loves laughing and spending time with family and friends.
