Mark Ladner

Medical Director, Evening Program

Mark E. Ladner, M. D., FAPA, has Board Certification in Psychiatry and is a Fellow in the American Psychiatric Association. He has 20 years of clinical experience and is currently an Associate Professor at UMMC. He has worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings including the Jackson VA Medical Center, St. Dominic Hospital, Hinds Behavioral Health Center, and Private Practice.

He earned his M.D. at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in 1992. He completed a psychiatric residency at UMMC in 1996, serving as chief resident of psychiatry from 1995-96. He is from Jackson, Mississippi, and has been part of the Psycamore Staff since 2005.

He has served as President of the Mississippi Psychiatric Association and Acting Chief of Psychiatry at the VA Medical Center. He has experience in treating a wide range of psychiatric disorders including mood and anxiety disorders, PTSD, and psychotic disorders.
