UR/Intake Specialist

D.J. has been in the Mental and Behavioral Health field for the past 20 years. During that time he has served as an Administrator for the past 7 years both as the Program Coordinator/Director for a Triage/Walk In Center in Memphis, TN, and Supervisor of Intake Services for an acute inpatient facility in Memphis, TN. Prior to those roles he served as the Assistant Program Director for an At-Risk Youth facility in Chesapeake, VA for 3 years, and as a Community Counselor and Mental Health Technician for approximately 10 years, at acute inpatient facilities in Memphis, TN.

When he’s not at work, he likes outdoor activities including walks in the park or along the river, exercising at home, and traveling.
