Therapeutic Yoga Instructor

Barbara is a retired nurse who has been practicing yoga since 2005. She is a registered yoga teacher and certified Yoga Therapist and a member of the Yoga Alliance and the International Association of Yoga Therapists. While spending several years exploring the many different yoga traditions, she also discovered how yoga played a role in healing the mind and body. Her passion for yoga and interest in healing has led her to study and specialize in Yoga for PTSD and other trauma and mood-related disorders. Her goal in yoga is to always take clients through safe and mindful practices and to help them discover the power and self-control that already exists within.
